Membership Overview
ULUDEF is a member-based international federation that brings together organizations committed to sustainable peace, inner transformation, and positive social change. Membership within ULUDEF is designed to foster collaboration, ethical alignment, and collective impact across countries and regions.
Member organizations represent diverse fields including peacebuilding, education, youth work, community development, culture, and environmental awareness. While their areas of expertise may differ, all members share a common commitment to ULUDEF’s core values, principles, and ethical standards.
ULUDEF membership is based on transparency, mutual respect, and non-discrimination. All member organizations are expected to act in accordance with the federation’s Code of Conduct and to uphold principles of human dignity, equality, and peaceful coexistence.
Membership provides a platform for dialogue, cooperation, and joint initiatives at national, regional, and international levels. Through this network, member organizations contribute to shared programs, knowledge exchange, and collective actions that support ULUDEF’s mission and long-term vision.
Membership within ULUDEF does not imply political affiliation, governmental representation, or endorsement by the United Nations. ULUDEF operates as an independent civil society federation, and its members retain their full legal and organizational autonomy.
Membership Principles
ULUDEF membership is grounded in shared values, ethical integrity, and a commitment to peaceful and inclusive social transformation. All member organizations are expected to align with the federation’s mission, vision, and guiding principles.
Membership within ULUDEF is based on voluntary participation, mutual respect, and cooperation. The federation promotes diversity of perspectives while maintaining a unified ethical framework that prioritizes human dignity, non-violence, equality, and social responsibility.
ULUDEF upholds the principles of non-discrimination, transparency, and accountability. Membership is open to organizations that demonstrate a clear commitment to these principles and that operate in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards.
Rights and Responsibilities of Members
Member organizations have the right to participate in ULUDEF’s network, initiatives, and collaborative activities in accordance with their membership status. Members may contribute to consultations, joint programs, and knowledge-sharing processes aimed at advancing the federation’s objectives.
Members are responsible for upholding ULUDEF’s Code of Conduct and for representing the federation’s values in their activities and communications. All members are expected to act with integrity, respect cultural and social diversity, and avoid actions that may harm the reputation or credibility of the federation.
Member organizations retain their full legal, financial, and organizational autonomy. Participation in ULUDEF does not create legal liability for the federation, nor does it imply authority to speak on behalf of ULUDEF unless explicitly authorized.
Members are encouraged to maintain open communication with the federation, provide accurate information regarding their activities when requested, and contribute constructively to the collective goals of the network.
ULUDEF does not collect membership fees from its member organizations, nor does it provide financial funding to them. Participation within the federation is based on voluntary contribution, shared responsibility, and mutual cooperation.
All activities, initiatives, and collaborative actions carried out under the ULUDEF framework are developed and implemented on a voluntary basis. Member organizations contribute through expertise, participation, outreach, and in-kind support, rather than through financial transactions.
This non-financial and volunteer-based model ensures independence, inclusivity, and equal participation among members, while reinforcing the federation’s commitment to ethical collaboration and sustainable civil society engagement.
